The team from Pall Mall Barbers Birmingham branch had the esteemed pleasure of headlining The Mailbox fashion show at the end of October. Being open for a few months, it was a great pleasure to be given this prestigious honor, and the stylist team set to work on creating modern looks for today’s gentleman. Led by our talented barber Sally, the team demonstrated emerging looks with models, all of which are suitable for different styles and gents.

We were delighted to partner with Gieves & Hawkes to make sure our models were dressed to impress from head to toe – meaning that the haircuts were crowning glories on top of sartorial looks.

During the day, the team gave complimentary consultations to the gentlemen of Birmingham, helping them learn how to get the very best out of their hair. Our barbers take into account considerations such as face shape, lifestyle, hair type, influence, and hobbies when helping a client choose a new style. Small changes and alterations to a style that are tailored to one’s face shape can completely change a look. The most important part is the hair left on the head that makes the style, and not how much is on the floor! The advice given to visiting gentlemen was well received, and the team received great feedback and plaudits – with many of the gents opting to visit our luxurious ground floor store near the main entrance of The Mailbox.

It is always a pleasure to share events space with respect brands, and this event boasted some of the finest fashion brands in the world. Alongside Pall Mall Barbers were our long-time fashion partner Hugo Boss, as well as the likes of Giorgio Armani, Calvin Klein, Gieves and Hawkes, Tommy Hilfiger and many more.

The headlining act at the end of Friday, we received fantastic feedback from journalists and on social media, in awe of the fantastic looks and practical tips for people to create or recreate the styles at home.

As is often the case, there was no rest for the wicked – once the crowds dispersed and press had asked their questions, the following days saw even more locals visiting our store to see what the hype is with Pall Mall Barbers. Saturdays in The Mailbox are always one of the busiest days, so it was a challenge but great to see so many extra people and have them get the Pall Mall Barbers experience.

As a treat, to finish the weekend off, Managing Director of Pall Mall Barbers, Richard Marshall, treated the team to the best seats in the house to see CageWarriors – giving them a chance to let their hair down and see some of the greatest fighters from across Europe in the UK. We have been lead sponsors of CageWarriors for many years – even taking our pop-up barbershop along to some of the London promotions.
